A chemical processing site based in North Wales are looking to appoint a new EHS leader. Permanent role.
Your new company
I have been exclusively appointed by a chemical processing site based in North Wales. An organisation with a global remit. The organisation have a strong business and are looking to promote due to the existing leader moving into a European role. The site operates as a upper tier COMAH site.
Your new role
As EHS Leader you will be reporting to the European EHS Manager. You will work to continually maintain and improve all EHS functions and practices. You will collate and analyse data in relation to accidents, near misses and behaviours and use a safety management tool to eliminate/improve. You will work with other managers to ensure that accreditation standards are maintained and the site is operating to COMAH regulated (top tier) standards. You will be responsible for auditing and implementing any plans following on from results of audits. You will promote and encourage a safety first culture throughout the plant.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be trained ideally to degree level within a chemistry, manufacturing or process subject. You will be educated to NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent, hold an environmental accredited qualification such as IEMA or NEBOSH Environmental. You will have solid understanding and experience with COMAH regulations. Ideally you will be Grad IOSH looking to progress to chartered status.
