My client are a worldwide supplier of bonding solutions and manufacturer of adhesive products for the Healthcare and Industrial markets. The business are proud to have a global reach with production sites in Asia, Europe and the US (19 locations across 10 countries).

Your new role
As EHS Coordinator, you will report to the Site Operations Manager in Ramsbury (Wilts) with no direct reports. Working hours: 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday. This role is mainly based at the Ramsbury site, but occasional travel could be required so you must hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
The key purpose of this role is to lead the EHS function at the Ramsbury site plus support the technical operations, responsibilities include:
- Report sites' EHS activities as required
- Carry out or coordinate Health & Safety training as identified via risk assessment process.
- Review and carry out risk assessments
- Report on any issues, particularly adhering to legal requirements
- Respond to any routine safety requirements and act as appropriate
- Ensure accident/incident investigations are carried out in a professional and thorough manner in accordance with HSE guidelines
- Ensure ongoing ISO 50001 Energy management compliance
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be a practical person with experience in manufacturing/medical device environments, but the client are willing to be flexible for the right individual. You must hold a NEBOSH General Certificate and/or be a Technical Member of IOSH. IEMA/audit qualifications will be an advantage too.
