The Corporate Health and Safety Advisor will provide appropriate ‘competent person’ skills, experience and knowledge to enable the Council to meet its health and safety duties across its multi-functional departments.
You will develop and implement arrangements for monitoring and reporting the Council’s health and safety legal compliance, and to manage associated risk, across all departments
The successful candidate must have significant and recent experience in providing the ‘competent person’ Health and Safety Advisor role within a large and multi-functional public sector organisation (ideally a local authority setting).
