The Health and Safety Service provides advice, guidance and coaching to all areas of Durham University, to assist them in complying with, and conforming to, relevant health and safety legislation and guidance.
This is a key post in the University HSS, involving the provision of frontline fire safety services across the University. The post holder will also play an important part in developing standards and the provision of training, as well as taking responsibility for specific elements of the HSS proactive workload. This is a wide ranging role requiring excellent communications and organisational skills, combined with an exemplary professional approach.
