Asbestos & Water Hygiene Manager - Fixed term Contract
Your new company
I am currently working on behalf of my client a Housing Association for an Asbestos & Water Hygiene manager for a 6 month fixed term basis. You will be responsible for the management of asbestos and water hygiene across their properties.
Your new role
- You will ensure the company complies with its responsibilities detailed within the Health & Safety Work Act.
- Ensure that asbestos & water hygiene records are available for their properties
- Ensure robust procedures are in place for capturing details of asbestos containing materials
- In accordance with the Approved Code of Practice and guidance HSE L8 you will ensure that water hygiene is managed and monitored to create robust systems of work
What you'll need to succeed
Applicants must be qualified to BOHS P402 and P405 and have experience managing safety in domestic and non domestic environments. You will also have experience developing and reviewing asbestos policies and procedures
Must also be qualified to HABC Level 3 award Legionella Control for Responsible persons.
