If so this could be the role for you……… I am currently recruiting for a SHEQ Manager for a demolition company based in Portsmouth. They are looking to add a SHEQ due to retirement and are looking for someone who can lead them towards gaining OHSAS 18001. The candidate will be reporting straight to the Managing Director of the company and will be looking after a health and safety team of two people. There will be travel involved once a week to northern England which may involve an overnight stay. They have rapidly increased their turnover in the past five years and want to bring someone on board who can help them progress to the next stage. They need the candidate to be able to look after ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and help implement OHSAS 18001. Also the candidate will have to develop all policies and procedures across all areas of the company. Essential Qualifications: • NEBOSH Certificate or Equivalent • Demolition experience • Experience of Implementing, Maintaining and Auditing of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 • Construction experience Desirables: • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent • Member of IOSH or equivalent This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation that is stable, which values its employees.
