European HSE Manager

A blue chip manufacturing company is seeking to appoint a European Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to be based in Western Germany with significant European travel. This highly demanding role will require the post holder to introduce new programmes and initiatives within their region and help deliver a positive, proactive safety culture. This will require highly effective communication skills including an understanding of cultural differences as relationships will need to be built with employees, ranging from operators up to senior management team. It is expected that candidates will have prior experience within a manufacturing or production environment and be bi-lingual, with the ability to speak fluent German and English a necessity. The ideal candidate will be NEBOSH Diploma qualified (or equivalent) and have a track record of delivery in previous senior management roles.
