NEBOSH (Or equivalent) qualified Health and Safety Manager needed for an engineering company based in Coventry or East of Sheffield (depending on where you live). The successful applicant will have a strong manufacturing, chemical or engineering industry background and be in charge of health, safety, environmental and quality systems. You will also need excellent knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO14001 management systems.
The role will be paying 35k-40k+ depending on experience. Principle duties will include the Promotion of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) Management to ensure compliance with all statutory legislation, compiling and continuously reviewing safety policy and procedures, providing knowledge of, and implementing with workforce. You will be responsible for leading internal and external audits and inspections and will be continually reviewing the Health & Safety competence. Conducting site inspection reports and after each visit, reporting any problems recorded with recommendations for corrective action and follow up visits and you will also be tasked with ensuring that HSEQ Standards are met.
