Health and Safety Adviser

Our client a leading global utility company is looking to recruit an experienced Health and Safety Adviser to be based in the South East.
Working as part of the Health and Safety Management Team the role of Health and Safety Adviser will be to ensure health, safety and wellbeing of staff and contractors in line with a zero harm ambition.
Key accountabilities will include:-
Serving as a visible champion for Health and Safety matters across the business.
Provide professional H&S support to the business to enable them to deliver their strategic programmes within the framework of the Zero Harm ambition as well as support the management team in the completion of risk assessments and incident investigations as required.
Oversee the implementation of Company Standards relating to Health and Safety at a local level and feedback to the Health and Safety Management Team any areas of potential conflict with business requirements.
Ensure appropriate and adequate Health and Safety training is provided based on a Training Needs Analysis.
 
The successful candidate will hold a NEBOSH construction certificate as a minimum and have experience of advising and consulting on all health and safety matters with a construction environment with the ability to influence at all levels.
