Fleet Manager
We are looking to recruit an experienced vehicle manager to work for this telecommunications company in Greater London. You will take responsibility for around 250 vehicles (Cars and vans) and will play a key role in ensuring efficiencies linked to petrol, leading and insurance costs, driver training, accident management and general legislation issues.
PURPOSE OF POSITION To effectively and efficiently control all client Vehicles Management To ensure that all legislative maintenance, licences and safety requirements are maintained and adhered to in respect of all client vehicles and adequate records are kept as proof. New vehicles are fit for the purpose i.e.: - all vehicles have phone hands free kits fitted, Service vans are fitted out with racking, tracking device and Company decals. Working hours legislation Maintain records of vehicle users, driving licences and traffic offences Insurance issues including the National Data Base of licensed and insured vehicles Issue order Numbers for vehicle maintenance, body repairs tyres etc. Maintain records of repair costs and mileage. Dispose of vehicles as required at the end of their use full life Authorise hire of any vehicle Check and pass invoices for payment relating to Fleet, Building facilities and Security Control London Congestion charge scheme Accident Management Accident claims and documentation Safe driving award scheme Inspection of vehicles for evidence of damage or miss-use and cleanliness Accident “risk” management (brief summary to all new Company Drivers) Co-ordinate Company Drivers on “driver awareness courses” Bluefire consulting is an employment agency acting on behalf of the client company. |
