Health, Safety & Environmental Manager

A varied and client facing Health, Safety and Environmental Managers role is currently available working for a renowned UK facilities contractor on a high profile account. The main focus of this role will be to manage the environmental, health & safety systems, advise on safety and environmental issues, drive statutory compliance and actively work with the account team to deliver sustainable environmentally focussed initiatives. Reporting into the account director, this multi-site role will suit an innovative and forward thinking HSE professional.

Addition duties will include managing the safety and environmental management systems across all the sites. You will also have a pivotal role in sopiating the client certifications with external bodies, including BSI 18001, ISO 14001, BSI 25999, BSI 27001, ISO 9001 and Investors in People. You will also be required to obattened, analysed and published data on safety and environment issues and performance, ensuring that necessary action is implemented and taken to address any issues. Additionally you will be required to undertake safety, environmental and compliance audits and investigations.

Candidates applying must be GRAD IOSH (or equivalent) with a formal environmental qualification. It is essential that you have previous experience of working in a facilities, maintenance or corporate environment, within a client facing role.
