The role has come about due to company re structure, and my client would like to add a Head of Health and Safety to their organisation. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, the role is within a manufacturing environment and my client is looking for a professional who has experience in this sector although it is not a priority. Knowledge of Environmental permitting regulations would be beneficial. Alongside this the candidate would be based at a single site in the UK however travelling globally will be necessary from time to time. The company thrive upon having good standards in place. The organisation is also looking for someone who has a good knowledge of safety in Manufacturing and Chemical legislation and someone that can work with UK regular authorities. Skills and qualifications required: • NEBOSH Diploma or Equivalent • Must have experience within Chemicals • Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Desirables: • Member of IOSH • Educated to a degree level or equivalent in a science This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation that is stable, which values its employees.
