We are currently looking for a Health and Safety Officer to join our small professional team providing a comprehensive advisory, auditing and internal regulatory service, on Occupational Safety and Health and Fire Safety, throughout the College. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to progress your Health and Safety career. This is a job-share position working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings opposite another part-time Health and Safety Officer. Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager you will act as lead officer for specific areas of the College and topic areas, as well as general involvement throughout the College. The role will enable you to use your own initiative whilst participating in and contributing to the work of the Health and Safety team. You will have an Occupational Safety and Health qualification to at least NEBOSH Certificate level, with previous practical experience of undertaking health and safety in a work environment, ideally within a large multi-site organisation.
