This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to progress your Health and Safety career. You will be part of a small professional team providing a comprehensive advisory, auditing and internal regulatory service, on Occupational Health and Safety and Fire Safety throughout the College. Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, you will assist in the provision of a full health and safety, including Fire Safety advisory, monitoring and internal regulatory service to the College. You will have an Occupational Safety and Health qualification to at least NEBOSH Certificate level, and practical experience of undertaking health and safety in a work environment. You should also hold a recognised Fire Safety qualification to at least the FPA’s 3 day Fire Risk Assessment course, and have practical experience of Occupational Safety and Health and Fire Safety Risk Assessment in a work environment. You will be a self starter and able to work on your own initiative while participating in and contributing to the work of the team. Opportunities will be given to the successful applicant, and you will be expected to increase both your practical experience and professional qualifications within a large, dynamic, multi disciplinary, multi site organisation.
