Working on a high profile site in Central London, this client facing role will focus on supporting in all areas relating to health, safety and fire management. As part of this role you will be required to ensure the maintenance of all client works access control systems, in addition to the following duties:
Responsible for co-ordination of the Permit to Work System Undertake programme of Health and Safety / Fire Safety Audits across London Campus Operations in accordance to an agreed schedule. Provide general Health and Safety Advice and support to all property related operations. Develop and deliver client inductions to all new contractors prior to them starting work, using the standard induction format. Ensure that the Hot Works, Confined Spaces, Gas Cylinder, Working at Height, and High Risk Activities Permits to Work are raised and correctly completed. Manage entry and closure of Permit to Work on Central Database Ensure that conflict checks are carried out on all Permits to Work. Audit of Permit to Work, Fire Isolation and Mechanical and Electrical Systems to ensure compliance to CLIENT procedures. All candidates applying must fulfil the following criteria: A recognised professional qualification in Health & Safety is required (NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate as a minimum requirement or equivalent). A recognised professional qualification in Fire Safety In-depth knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. Proven track record in both Health and Safety management and Fire Safety experience (preferably within the Fire Brigade or Armed Forces or Fire Engineering Environment) Membership of the 'Institute of Fire Engineers' is essential (but at any level). Financial Services experience is desirable All of the above criteria are non-negotiable.
