Human Factors Consultant

Joining a specialist team of Ergonomic specialists who provide design solutions for complex environments in all areas of human factors safety and integration.
 
You will utilise your strong commercial and business focus to support the team on technical project work, develop relationships with new and existing clients and help grow the business. The role will involve not only identification and modelling of human error but validation of the systems that underpin the operational environment such as assessment of Human Machine Interface, understanding of environmental influences on performance, assessment of safety culture.

Criteria for application:
The successful applicant will be an experienced Human Factors Consultant with considerable experience working on large engineering projects, with particular experience in a high hazard industry (such as Nuclear and Oil&Gas).
You should also possess the following:
Relevant and appropriate professional qualifications
A thorough understanding of risk assessment and HRA.
Experience of HFI in complex systems would also be beneficial
Ideally you will also be a Registered Member of the Ergonomics Society
The successful applicant will be comfortable working without supervision and as part of a team
You will have excellent verbal and written skills will be able to effectively communicate with operational staff and senior managers alike as well as able to mentor and lead the junior team members.
