Hays Health & Safety are seeking an Environmental Co-ordinator to join a global leader. The purpose of the role is to assist in all areas of Environmental Management, aid the EHS Leader in general application of Health & Safety as necessary. Fulfil set aims and objectives within desired timeframes to achieve the highest Environment standards for the organisation. To provide assistance to all departments for all types of assessments and practical Environmental advice.
Strategic role Ensuring the management of the environmental System is kept up to date and in line with recognised standards, working closely with the EHS Leader to ensure compliance on every level within the business. Working side-by-side with the H&S Technician to gain experience of the site and the issues encountered. Experience Environmental Qualification (IEMA, post grad, Degree, MSc) In-depth knowledge of UK Environmental legislation Experience in application and maintenance of ISO14001 Proven track record of managing ISO14001 Ability to work in an high pressure environment Willingness to drive continuous improvement and show initiative Good communicator Computer literate Quick learner Hays Construction & Property is a trading division of Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited and acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
