Safety Health & Environmental Co-ordinator required for a chemical manufacture in South West Yorkshire. You will be working closely with the SHEQ Manager to coordinate the safe and efficient operation of the site in respect of Safety, Health and the Environment management.
 
You will be required to advise on the planning, implementation and the measurement of performance of the Group, maintain awareness of current SHE legislation applicable to the business; including Major Accident Hazards, IPPC, standards, good SHE management practice and co-ordinate training, promote communication and co-operation of SHE initiatives.
 
You will also be required to maintain a full range of risk control programmes and procedures to minimise risk and manage foreseeable emergencies and plan and organise the implementation of short to medium term projects.
 
You need to be a hands on HSE Professional who is use to working on the shop floor. You will also be the first point of contact for all HSE Issues. You require a working background within the chemical industry and ideally have working experience on a COMAH Site.  You must have a Nebosh Diploma or equivalent.
