HSE Advisor

Job Title:           SHE Advisor (Permanent, Full-Time)
Location:          Fleet area
Salary:             £30000 - £35000
Hours:              8:30am – 5pm
 
My client is a small manufacturing company whom is looking for a candidate to join their team in Hampshire, in the Fleet area. It will be a site-based position therefore a driving licence is not required. YOU MUST HAVE A MANUFACTURING BACKGROUND!
 
Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:
Essential:
 

- ‘Hands on’ line management or supervisory experience of at least two years.
- Good written and verbal communications with computer literacy.
- Health, Safety & Environment experience within the manufacturing business.
- Formal qualifications in Health & Safety to NEBOSH Certificate level and / or IEMA. Certificate, ideally with some environmental management experience. 
- Fire management experience or experience with solvents.
- Good organisational and strong influencing skills.
- Experience of maintaining ISO14001 & OHSAS 18001 certifications.
- Self motivated with proven ability to achieve results whilst managing a broad agenda and be self-disciplined and motivated to work with low supervision.  
Desirable:
 
·         Team player, good presentation and training skills.
·         Has or is working towards the IEMA Environment Certificate or NEBOSH Diploma Part 1 or similar
·         Some understanding of culture / behavioural safety systems.
·        Some experience of Environmental permit processes.
