Health & Safety Advisor

Temporary Health and Safety Advisor required for energy recycling company with locations across the country. You will be working closely with the Group Compliance Manager.

It will be your role to provide support to the Group Compliance Manager whilst undertaking specific project work as directed: researching, analysing, and producing competent and accurate reports. You will also carry out health and safety inspections, undertake specific surveys and reviews, investigate minor accidents and incidents, provide advice and guidance on Health and Safety issues and assist with the audit process to ensure the standards required by the company and external audit body are complied with.

You require the Nebosh General Certificate or equivalent and must also be a member of a professional body such as IIRSM or IOSH. Ideally you will have a working background with the recycling or waste industry however Construction backgrounds will also be considered. You must be flexible in your approach to working hours and be willing to undertake UK travel including overnight stays away from home. This position is to provide maternity cover and will be for six months.

Commutable from Basildon, Brentwood, South Ockendon, Grays and Benfleet.
