We are working with a specialist division of an international food manufacturing group who are looking to strengthen their position with the appointment of an Interim H&S Consultant.
Working across 15 Depot sites this organisation is distributing fresh produce to shops throughout the UK, 6 days a week. Their sites are as diverse as their product range, the smallest housing 6 delivery vans and the largest having 100 staff working in the Office, warehouse and driving vehicles. Most of the H&S risks on site consist of Slips, trips, lifting incidents and vehicle movement accidents and the Client is looking for an experienced H&S Practitioner to come in and update the current H&S Manual and provide risk assessments across all of its sites. You will need to be an experienced H&S professional. Ideally you will have had experience working within a distribution environment where you can rapidly apply your skills to the task at hand. This is an interim role, expected to last approx 1 month.
