QA Engineer

Exciting new career opportunity has arisen for an experienced quality assurance professional to join a leading team.  Reporting into the QA Manager you will be responsible for e nsuring that the project teams are aware and trained on the company’s QA procedures and that these are implemented and maintained at all times.  You will have responsibility for reporting directly to the Regional Director and the QA Manager on any deficiencies within the Quality Management System and you will also cover the following duties:
Maintain and submit to Regional Senior Management teams an Audit programme to ensure compliance with the Company QA management system.
Ensure a Project Specific QA Plan is developed by each Project team  outlining QA requirement for their site ; ensuring once compiled they are maintain and all issues controlled and amendments made as required.
Conduct all the activities of an internal auditor by at predetermined dates visiting project sites/offices; producing reports of findings specifically detailing any none conformances raised.
Issue non-conformances and ensure that they are effectively closed-out/ managed through follow-up visits and action requests 
As needed arrange regional QA Management meetings or ensure that QA is discussed as an agenda item at Local management Meeting (attending where necessary).
Attend QA review meetings with the Company QA Manager, EHS Manager and as may be required Regional or Senior Directors.

Qualifications and experience required:
This key role will have integration with colleagues at all levels and therefore strong communication and leadership skills are essential.  You should also be professionally qualified, a Member of the Institute of Quality Assurance, hold an ISO9001 Lead Auditor [including 2000 update] qualification in systems auditing
