A new Health and Safety Advisor temporary job has arisen to work for a NHS organisation to provide short-term cover whilst they recruit the role permanently. It is essential candidates have health and safety experience gained from the NHS or large public sector organisation, as you will be responsible for ensuring health and safety compliance and best practice across the hospital. You will be responsible for providing health and safety advice, conducting risk assessments, audits and inspections in all areas and locations across the directorate, promoting best practice health and safety to maintain a safe working environment, participating in health and safety training as well as accident investigations and reporting. It is key the successful candidate has the NEBOSH general certificate and is studying towards the NEBOSH diploma or equivalent.
This role is for an immediate start and is likely to be 1-2 months in duration.
