Health Safety & Environmental Manger required to work for a well established Food Manufacturer in Kent.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Health & Safety Professional to work in a fast moving and challenging environment. You will be working alongside the HR Manager to maintain and develop health, safety and environmental standards throughout the business. It will be your role to communicate health & safety information to all relevant managers, conduct health & safety meetings, surveys and inspections. You will provide health & safety training, complete risk assessments and act as the central point of contact for all HSE issues. The client requires a working background ideally within food manufacturing but other factory and manufacturing settings will be considered. You must have the Nebosh General Certificate or equivalent and ideally have the basic food hygiene certificate. You will be an excellent communicator at all levels and the role requires a flexible attitude to working hours. You have to be a proactive safety professional and be prepared to work outside of the office on the shop floor whilst ensuring a fresh approach to health and safety. The client is not considering applications from HSE professionals from outside of a manufacturing environment. Commutable from Dartford, Abbey Wood, Bexley, Sidcup, Eltham and Welling.
