Health, Safety & Security Manager

Working as a key member of the senior management team within a major aviation environment, this health, safety and security role will act as the focal point for all Health Safety and Security requirements throughout the UK.  You will be responsible for providing the information and guidance to ensure all departments meet the prime objective for all safety and security compliance under UK regulations and company requirements.

You will also be required to:
Maintaining and providing documents on the company safety statistics.
In liaison with the senior management team ensure all company policy documents and reviewed, up dated and distributed to all the departments.
Leading managers to enable them to remain compliant with all UK regulations and Parent Company requirements.  Training managers / staff where appropriate.
Maintains the security of the company to comply with DFT and Government requirements
Leads internal auditing and maintaining the audit schedule and up dating of documents.
Arranging external auditing schedule for compliance for OHASS 18001


Candidate requirements:
All candidates applying should hold the NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum and must have a proven track record in working within a full time health and safety role.  You must also have a current Driving Licence and Passport and be able to travel within the UK and occasionally overseas.  This role will require the successful candidate to be able to work flexible hours and occasional weekends and to be able to satisfy security requirements to gain access to the UK’s major airports controlled areas.
