SHE Officer (12 Months)

Hays Health & Safety are recruiting a SHE Officer to work on a 12 month fixed term contract.
The successful job holder will be self-driven and results orientated and have a logical approach to all matters and strong communication skills. You should be IT literate (Excel, Powerpoint) and have excellent presentation skills.
Your key objective will be to provide Health, Safety and Environmental support to the SHE Manager, to sustain and improve health & safety standards and awareness on site.
Technical & professional competencies/experience required

- NEBOSH Health & Safety Certificate
- Knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and procedures
- Knowledge of Risk Assessments
- A natural forward planner with proven organisational skills
- Previous exposure to OHSAS 18001/ISO 14001 accreditation systems
- Experience working within a Distribution/retail environment ideal
