Environmental & Quality Advisor
Working for a major FM contractor based on their PFI business in Birmingham, this position will organise and deal with the administration, maintenance and implementation of the Integrated Management System (IMS). You will also be required to coordinate the Environmental, Health and Safety and Quality systems to ensure compliance associated BSI standards. Taking responsibility for advising on environmental and quality matters to the both their clients and internal staff, this role will have wide exposure to all areas of the business.
Role requirements: A degree (or equivalent) in an Environmental or related subject (Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Ecology, Geology etc) Competent in the assessment and implementation of quality, environmental and safety processes Practical understanding of implementing and maintaining Integrated Management Systems to meet ISO and OHSAS requirements Membership of IEMA or working towards it Qualified in auditing to ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 Possesses a full UK driving license Hays Construction & Property is a trading division of Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited and acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
