An international multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking to recruit a client facing Health, Safety and Environmental professional to focus on their business in the West Midlands are. Working in support of the Group Health & Safety Manager, the Regional Health Safety & Environmental Manager will:
Monitor employees’ work activities and conduct hazard identification, including client-embedded teams; Work with UK locations to develop operational risk assessments and their associated precautions and location safety management; Provide technical advice and guidance on all issues in relation to the management of health and safety in UK region; Provide SHE training support to Learning & Development; Provide support to bid management teams and Sales Support in relation to health and safety input for new business; To promote operational health and safety management practices and obtain commitment from people at all UK locations to achieving improvements in health & safety; Role requirements: Extensive knowledge of the legal and technical health and safety standards relevant to a built asset consultancy and the construction industry. The practical application of health and safety advice and management techniques. A proven track record of working as a full time Health and Safety practitioner in a client facing environment. Offering advice on solutions to health & safety problems arising in a complex; multi-disciplinary organisation. Setting health and safety performance standards and establishing monitoring procedures to measure progress. The development and delivery of health and safety training courses.
