Hays Health & Safety are recruiting a Safety, Health & Environmental Administrator for their client in Derbyshire.
You will be required to focus on environmental compliance, whilst having a broad spectrum of duties ranging from training, co-ordination, advising on Health and Safety and other related duties. Owing to work volumes, the successful candidate will be required to support other members of the team in areas such as ppe issue, update of driver details and so forth. Main requirements of the role include: - Improving, refining and introducing efficient Safety, Health and Environment systems to all sites; - Ensuring all sites’ full compliance with Safety, Health and Environment legislation; - Hold regular meetings with Safety, Health and Environment Representatives, ensuring the same are kept well informed of any impending Health and Safety systems and procedures; - Manage and co-ordinate effective Safety, Health and Environment training across all sites; - Complete risk assessments, conduct site audits and monitor accident reporting; - ISO 9001 compliance, and focussing towards achieving the ISO 14001 compliance ; - Full compliance with Environmental legislation and required systems; - Provide administrative support to colleagues within the Partnership Administration Department, in any areas as dictated by work volume and/or business requirements. You will have a minimum of NEBOSH Diploma and have experience working with Environmental systems.
