A leading renewable energy client is looking for a GradIOSH or CMIOSH level candidate with Nebosh Diploma or equivalent to manage the Health & Safety for their off-shore renewables team. The role will be UK wide visiting all of their off-shore sites, and will making sure that all related activities are carried out in a safe manner, i.e. helicopter and boat transfers to the offshore facilities, and operational activities on vessels, barges and turbines. Experience of working in the renewable sector is highly advantageous. Candidate’s must have demonstrable experience of working on large scale projects in the following sector(s); Construction, Civil Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), and/or High Voltage (HV). On top of this, the main requirements for the role include; good CDM knowledge, lifting plans and working at heights experience, and good working knowledge of both ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001.
