Job Role: Quality Systems Project Manager
Location: Basingstoke Salary up to £65,000 plus Full Package (Minimum of 6 months Fixed Term Contract) The client will negotiate on the salary for the right person, you must have manufacturing, quality and project management experience. Our client is the world's largest commercial security printer and papermaker, involved in the production of over 150 national currencies and a wide range of security documents such as passports, authentication labels and fiscal stamps. Around the world, central banks use their equipment to count and sort notes quickly, reliably and in large quantities, helping them to reduce the cost of handling cash. They also pioneer new technologies in government identity solutions for national identification, driver's licence and passport issuing schemes. MAIN PURPOSE: The Quality Systems Project Manager is responsible for managing the implementation of quality systems into IDS. The scope of the role is to implement predominantly new quality processes and procedures into a rapidly growing organisation. The company has not previously focussed on heavy compliance against quality standards but due to recent business changes this is now a pressing requirement. The scope of the roles is predominantly in the following areas: Implementation of a Quality Management System. Manufacturing quality assurance and quality control. Compliance to ISO, Regulatory and other standards. Service Management policies and procedures. Re-engineering of the process used to transition Sales requirements into Production. Document all company processes. Train staff in Quality philosophy, systems and processes At a more granular level the deliverables are as follows: Quality Management System Control of Documents Procedure Control of Records Procedure Management Review Quality Manual Quality Control and Inspection Control Plans including PFMEA, evaluation methods, tolerances for all assembly and personalisation activities Goods In and Goods Out processes (including PFMEA and testing) Supplier Quality Assurance (including requiring of final test and certificate of conformity for all products) Supplier evaluation and monitoring processes Key qualifications, skills and experience required Prior experience in project management of the Quality Management systems, policies, processes and procedures implementation lifecycle. Strong leadership skills and ability to drive project team to meet goals and objectives Strong communications skills, verbal and written. Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Excel for management of project plan, costs and schedule.
