Our client is seeking an individual with extensive knowledge of risk assessment and safety management in the UK Offshore and / or Onshore oil, gas and petrochemical industry. The right candidate will be an experienced consultant with established client relationships and a good network of sector contacts with an ability to grow into a business developer. You will be expected initially to follow-up leads generated by others and produce high quality proposals the majority of which lead to a project award. After a period of development you should be able to identify and win new business opportunities, for the team, primarily in the UK but occasionally overseas when suitable opportunities arise, working with a team of high quality consultants with an established service range. You will be able to provide advice to the Technical Director, Risk and Safety regarding opportunities for new business outside the current service range. You will also manage projects and be responsible for ensuring delivery of high quality technical consultancy services to clients. Service Areas include – COMAH and Safety Case Support, Process Safety and Major Accident Risk Assessment, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, DSEAR, Safety Management Systems, QRA, Environmental Risk, Reliability, Human Factors, Safety Culture and Staffing Assessment. The successful candidates will have: - BSc, BEng or MEng Chemical Engineer or associated discipline - MSc or PhD Preferred in Safety, reliability or related topic - CMIOSH Status or working towards An excellent opportunity to join an established and growing organisation.
