CDM Co-ordinator/Health & Safety

A new CDM job has arisen to work for a housing association in North London on a temporary basis. The role will be a mix of CDM and Health & Safety work and experience in both areas is key. You will be responsible for writing CDM management procedures for the housing association, conducting spot checks on construction works in the borough, undertaking/managing asbestos incident investigations as well as liaising with CDM coordinators and conducting performance reviews with them for capital works projects, to ensure they are meeting the requirements and providing suitable advice.
 
You will be reporting into the Health & Safety Manager and assisting with certain areas in Health & Safety. You could potentially be working as an internal CDM coordinator too where you would be managing the process and providing advice for projects where CDM applies but isn't notifiable.
 
Previous work experience gained from a housing association would be an advantage.
