East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust are looking for an experienced Manager to lead a small team responsible for non-clinical risk management, health & safety, fire safety and security. The post is based at Kent & Canterbury Hospital with a remit covering five hospitals and a number of clinics throughout East Kent.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference and to have a real impact with responsibility in the following areas:-

To be the lead professional within the Trust on all matters relating to Health and Safety, Fire Safety and Security.
To manage the successful implementation of the Care Quality Commission and NHSLA Level 3 standards that rest within the Strategic Development & Capital Planning directorate.
To liaise with the Health and Safety Executive, representing East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust on all matters relating to the implementation of Health and Safety measures.
To develop and implement risk management systems, processes, practices and related policies.
