We have several renewable energy programmes underway in the marine estate and consequently are looking for a professional with a proven track record of delivery to ensure the very highest standards of health and safety are in place amongst all external stakeholders conducting this work. This may well involve challenging accepted views and set methodologies on a strategic level with senior stakeholders. Your detailed knowledge of current UK legislation and your NEBOSH diploma qualification, combined with your communication skills and persuasive personality, will allow you to change hard-held views of health and safety within the industry. Your extensive experience of driving health and safety systems and programmes plus track record of delivering change will also swiftly win you the respect our stakeholders. You will also be a passionate believer in continual improvement. Experience gained within a fast-changing commercial / industrial environment – preferably in major infrastructure projects or within the renewables sector – is essential. Some exposure to the offshore or energy industries would be useful.
