This is a challenging and rewarding role suited to someone who is enthusiastic and self-motivated. You will be a persuasive communicator who can design and develop strategies and demonstrate good planning, project management, report writing and people skills. You will have experience at working at a senior level as a health and safety professional and be a member of a relevant professional body.
You will work with managers and staff advising and guiding them on developing a safe and healthy working environment and culture. You will be responsible for managing a Health and Safety Advisor and the University’s occupational health contract which is currently outsourced. You will oversee all aspects of health and safety at the University and provide advice and support to senior managers and staff.
