Job Title: Health and Safety Administrator
Start Date: Monday 22nd Feb Finish Date: approx 3 months Place of Work: Eastleigh Start Time: 9am - 5pm Pay Rate: £11.50 Main Duties: Responsible for the assessment of all new suppliers and subcontractors To check all supporting documentation has been provided as requested To clarity the new account form has been fully completed and has appropriate sign off Ensure specific company accreditations are in place for the type of work they provide Ensure that subcontractors provide suitable evidence to manage subcontracted work if applicable ISO 9001, 14001 certificates in date and UKAS accreditation where applicable Ensure the companies quality and environmental policies are in place and signed by the companies MD Ensure appropriate method statements and risk assessments are in place appropriate to the works being carried out on site Able to assess RIDDORS and check improvement notices, checking on the HSE website Check for evidence of safety passport scheme were applicable Check for CDM regulations with subcontractors if applicable Check suppliers have procedures to ensure existing laws and regulations are complied to Liaise with site staff to ensure full compliance from supplier Hays Construction & Property is a trading division of Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited and acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
