At Oldham we have brought Health, Safety and Occupational Health services together to create a strong, consistent approach which provides a powerful platform for supporting our staff and partners in transforming services for the benefit of our communities. This has created a renewed sense of purpose and we now have an opportunity for a dynamic manager and experienced Health and Safety professional to lead the team.
The purpose of this role is also to act as lead officer for all health, safety and well being matters within the Council and to advise the Chief Executive and senior managers and councillors of associated statutory responsibilities and standards.
Salary: £45,991 - £48,616 p.a. Hours: 36.40 per week Based: Civic Centre, West Street Oldham Closing date: 14 October 2009
